Rebeca Enloe

FLUTE PERFORMER

AND EDUCATOR

Flautist Rebeca Enloe started playing the flute at age ten, while attending the Ion Vidu music school in Timisoara, Romania - a city nicknamed "Little Vienna of the East." There she received conservatory-like musical training as she performed and won places at national and international competitions.

Rebeca holds a Master of Music degree in Flute Performance from Azusa Pacific University, as well as a BM in Flute Performance from The Master's University, where she studied with former principal flute of the Los Angeles Opera, Gary Woodward. While in California, Rebeca enjoyed teaching and performing as a freelance musician in the Greater Los Angeles Area.

As a soloist and section player, Rebeca has collaborated with ensembles including Banatul Symphony Orchestra (Timisoara), Deva Opera Orchestra (Romania), and Arad Symphony Orchestra (Romania). She has taken lessons or performed in masterclasses for flautists including Nicola Mazzanti, Jasmine Choi, and Erin Bouriakov.

Rebeca lives in Simpsonville, SC with her husband, composer Christopher Enloe. When not practicing flute for an upcoming recital or recording session, you will find her going on walks or reading theology.
